Brain Based Learning

Brain Based Learning: A Professional Development Experience

I recently completed a professional development course, designated by my school district. Now, while I am in charge of professional development for my school’s high school site; and it’s adult education and vocational technical site, I have a different perspective when I am on the other side of the instruction. I analyzed the “experience” from multiple perspectives, as I would have to later share this experience ins some format, to other instructors, administrators and, or school staff. I mentally asked the same questions that may be posed to me, when I presented a proposal for the course at my school site.

I asked the obvious questions about the course, and the Brain Based Learning instructional and planning philosophy: who, what, when, where, why, and how.
